This painting was inspired in part by "Alchemy: An Artists + Writers Initiative," a group project that I participated in where I live in Kalamazoo, MI. The subject being alchemy, I took the notion of ancient precursor scientists trying to turn lead into gold, and turned it around to reflect our very modern predicament of humans turning gold into lead.
The retail price of this work includes the artwork itself, plus the mat, frame, plexiglass, etc (when applicable)
